ATLANTA — An investigation is underway after four people were shot in northwest Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 644 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. NW.

Police did not release the identities and conditions of the people who were shot.

Atlanta Police Lt. Christopher Butler said the shooting was a part of a n escalating dispute between known parties.

This is an active investigation.
