ATLANTA — Kroger is introducing new uniforms for its employees and managers in an effort to make it easier for customers to find assistance while shopping.

The grocery chain says the updated uniforms will feature Kroger’s shopping cart logo on both the front and back of the shirts.

Employees will wear T-shirts or polo shirts, while managers will have button-down shirts or quarter-zip jackets.

The uniforms will be available in blue, red and black, with each corporate division selecting its designated color.

Kroger says the changes are intended to help shoppers more easily identify employees when they need assistance inside stores.
