No. 5 Georgia scores late to avoid Florida upset

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Georgia’s 2025 football team might really be like Michael Myers.

It just won’t die.

Things were looking bleak once again in the fourth quarter, as Florida had the lead and the ball deep in scoring territory.

Yet a fourth down stand coupled with a 36-yard touchdown run from former Florida commit Chauncey Bowens, Georgia escaped and slayed Florida by a score of 24-20.
