ATLANTA, Ga. — Police in Atlanta are investigating after a shooting left a victim hospitalized Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of Kimberly Way just before 1:30 p.m. after reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to his back. He was rushed to the hospital.

The identity of the victim and current extent of his injury is unknown.
