ATLANTA — Police are investigating after a 44-year-old man was shot and killed in Atlanta on Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the 600 block of Cameron Alexander Boulevard after reports of a person down call just before 10:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim’s identity was not released.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
