ATLANTA — Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that happened in northwest Atlanta early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of Marietta Boulevard after reports of a person down just after 5 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive male victim with a stab wound.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he later died. The identity of the victim was not released.

The investigation remains active at this time.
