Police investigating shooting that left two dead in East Atlanta

ATLANTA — Police are investigating after two people were killed in a shooting in East Atlanta Sunday evening.

Officers say they received a “person shot” call just before 6 p.m. and found both victims at the Amani Place apartments at 1572 Hardee Street NE, south of DeKalb Avenue.

The victims have been identified as 24-year-old Michael Cammick and 32-year-old Terrell Jordan and investigators are still working to determine what led to the shooting.

So far, no suspects or arrests have been announced. This is an ongoing investigation.
