HALL COUNTY, GA — A suspect has been charged with arson in connection to a fire that destroyed a home in Hall County last month.

The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office says their investigation determined the fire, which occurred on Aug. 29 on Saddlehorse Drive, was intentionally set.

In addition to first-degree arson, the suspect faces charges of fraudulent insurance claims and reckless conduct.

The identity of the suspect was not released by police.

No one was injured in the fire.
