If you’re in need of an idea for a New Year’s resolution, perhaps you should pledge to spend less time on your phone.
A new study finds on average we check our smartphones almost 200 times each day.
Researchers say we spend just over five hours each day on phones, or the equivalent of 83 days a year.
If you add in other devices like laptops and TVs, the average person looks at a screen for about 12.5 hours a day.
