ATLANTA, GA — 17 people are arrested across the state in a child sex crimes bust including several in metro Atlanta.

The GBI says all of those arrested during Operation Byte Down are charged with sexual exploitation of children, and other related offenses.

Those arrested include suspects from Duluth, Norcross, Doraville and Alpharetta.

Authorities say they used undercover chat investigations to help nab the suspects.
