ATLANTA — A 59-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed in his head in Atlanta late Friday evening.

Officers responded to 1991 Delowe Dr. SW after reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers the victim with an apparent stab wound to his head.

Investigators say the man was “involved in a verbal altercation with a known female suspect that escalated to a physical dispute.”

Police are searching for the suspect.
