FULTON COUNTY, GA — Atlanta fire crews rushed to the Fulton County Jail early Thursday morning after reports of a trash fire inside the facility.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, but several people were exposed to smoke. Authorities confirm eight patients are being treated for smoke inhalation and are expected to recover.
