LAMAR COUNTY, GA — Amazon has purchased a 985-acre development site along Interstate 75 in rural Lamar County, about an hour south of Atlanta.

While Amazon has not yet confirmed specific plans, reports indicate the company intends to build a data center on the newly acquired land.
