DEKALB COUNTY, GA — The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says an inmate has died while in custody at the DeKalb County jail.
It’s the seventh death at the jail this year.
27-year-old Larynz Redd of Decatur was found unresponsive in his cell.
He had been in custody since May of 2024.
The cause of his death is under investigation, but there’s no indication of foul play.
