ATLANTA — The Atlanta City Council posthumously honors actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner with a proclamation at Monday’s council meeting.

Warner rose to fame in the 1980’s sitcom “The Cosby Show.”

Council member Michael Julian Bond says Warner was more than just a television icon, he was a voice for our generation.

The proclamation honors not just Warner’s achievements in entertainment, but the positive influence he had on the lives of so many in Atlanta and around the world.
