CARROLLTON, GA — Police in Carrollton are investigating the death of a 6-month-old baby found unresponsive at a home on Columbia Drive.

Officers were called to the residence Wednesday night after the child’s mother reported finding the infant beside the bed. She told investigators the baby had rolled off the bed before being discovered.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
