DEKALB COUNTY, GA — The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office reports an inmate death at the DeKalb County Jail.

The inmate died following a medical emergency the on-site medical team responded immediately and provided emergency care until EMS personnel arrived.

The inmate has been identified as 49-year-old Preston Gabriel Bush of Doraville.

Mr. Bush was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
