FULTON COUNTY, GA — Fulton County will now collect property taxes for residents in Palmetto and Union City. The change will put city taxes on county bills.
This means bills will be issued and taxes are payable to the Fulton County tax commissioner.
Residents of Palmetto who live in Coweta County will not be affected.
Fulton County usually sends out tax bills earlier than cities, so residents can expect to receive the city portion of their property tax bills sooner than in previous years.
Officials say when you receive your property tax bill, you can pay it online at www.fultoncountytaxes.org, by telephone at 404-613-6100, in person at the South Fulton Service Center, 5600 Stonewall Tell Rd. in College Park, or any of the Tax Commissioner’s three other full service locations.
