Paulding County deputy fired, charged with cruelty to children

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — A Georgia deputy was fired after being arrested for his involvement in a domestic violence dispute.

Officials say Paulding County Sheriff Ashley Henson asked the GBI to investigate an incident involving deputy Terry Scott McAdams.

The GBI recommended charges against McAdams.

He faces reckless conduct, battery, and second degree cruelty to children.

He was released on bond.
