ATLANTA, Ga. — A ground stop has ended on Friday afternoon at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration says.
While the ground stop has ended, departures from the airport are being delayed an average of 45 minutes or more due to thunderstorms.
The ground stop was put into effect until 6:15 p.m. according to the FAA.
Travelers should check their flight information for updates.
