HALL COUNTY, GA — The Hall County Sheriff’s Office has launched a professionally produced video as part of a public safety education program on scam prevention. This is after a growing number of seniors are falling victim to scam artist.
The video features Hall County Sheriff Gerald Couch. The video is on social media and also being shown at community meetings.
The latest numbers from FBI shows seniors lost nearly $5B to fraud in 2024, a significant increase from the previous year.
