ATLANTA — Hundreds of people marched through downtown Atlanta on Thursday afternoon for the May Day protest happening nationwide.

People gathered at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta and in cities around the country to protest several causes.

Among the causes include attacks on the judicial system and others demanding a raise in minimum wage. Many people in attendance also protested against president Donald Trump.
