ATLANTA — Police are investigating after a 24-year-old man was shot multiple times in Atlanta late Wednesday evening.

Officers met the victim at Grady Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, including to his back and his left leg.

Investigators say the shooting happened in the area of 2005 Lois Place NW.

The identity of the victim and current extent of his injury are unknown.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
