SAVANNAH, Ga. — Police are investigating after multiple people were injured in a shooting at a Georgia mall on Wednesday.
Savanna Police Chief Lenny Gunther said, “We responded to a shooting here at the Oglethorpe Mall about 5:40 pm. The preliminary information that we received is that multiple individuals were shot.”
Chief Gunther says the shooting is “not random.” Investigators believe the shooting was between two groups “probably known to each other” that were shooting at each other."
Police say there were three shooting victims including two young adults and a juvenile.
The shooting remains under investigation.
