ATLANTA — Two candidates running for an Atlanta city council seat this November are disqualified based on residency requirements.
The city’s municipal clerk announced the decision against Keith Lewis Jr. and Sherry B. Williams, both candidates in the district 11 council race.
Eight other candidates are still in the running for the council seat.
They are Toni Belin-Ingram, Andre Burgin, Curt Collier, Steven Dingle, Harold Hardnett, Nate Jester, Wayne Martin, and Reginald Rushin.
