ATLANTA, GA — In an update from an earlier report, Hendon Properties, which owns Greenbriar Mall, said two men with gunshot wounds came in a car to the parking lot of the mall and called 911.

Mall officials say no shots were fired inside the mall and the shooting did not happen on mall property.

The mall is open.

Atlanta police say both shooting victims were alert, conscious, and breathing when they were transported to the hospital.

Officers are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the incident.
