LAWRENCVILLE, GA — There is new information on skeletal remains that were found in Gwinnett County earlier this month.
On February 10, 2025, personnel with the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office were requested to respond to the area of Highway 316 and Duluth Highway Lawrenceville, Georgia, near the eastbound exit ramp from SR 316 onto SR 120.
The medical examiner confirmed that what a construction crew working in the area of Northside Gwinnett Hospital had found was a indeed human skull.
The skull was examined at the Gwinnett County Morgue by the Chief Medical Examiner of Gwinnett County, Dr. Carol Terry with consultation by Forensic Anthropologist Laura Fulginiti. They reported the skull belongs to a Caucasian male, ranging in age from 35 to 70 years old.
No other skeletal remains were found in the area after a thorough search was conducted.
