LOUISVILLE, KY — Sandy Springs-based UPS is hit with a class action lawsuit just days after the cargo plane crash in Louisville, Kentucky.

It was filed on behalf of someone who lived near the crash site and two impacted businesses.

UPS, GE, who made the plane’s engine, and Boeing, the maker of the plane, have all been sued.

The lawsuit claims the crash was like a bomb and the companies failed to maintain the aircraft.

At least 13 people died. Nine people are still missing.
