About Mark Arum:
Mark Arum anchors the midday airwaves in Atlanta on WSB Radio (95.5 FM / AM 750), where he hosts The Mark Arum Show Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Known for his sharp wit, urban traffic-insight and connected local voice, Mark bridges serious news, listener engagement and a friendly, conversational tone.
A native of Connecticut, Mark graduated from Marist College in New York with a degree in Journalism and Public Relations. He joined WSB in 1997 as part of the station’s traffic team—bringing critical commute intelligence to Atlanta’s rush-hour drivers, and eventually expanding his role into talk-radio hosting.
On his show, you’ll find Mark diving into local culture, pop-life moments, sports, commuting stories (he knows metro motors better than most), and consumer-friendly conversations—all delivered with the tone of “that guy you’d like to hang out with.” Colleagues describe him as “smart, funny and welcoming” with a knack for making complex traffic, news and metro life feel conversational.
When he’s off-air, Mark remains deeply connected to the city of Atlanta—its neighborhoods, traffic patterns, and the everyday journey of the commuters who depend on him. For advertisers and sponsors looking to tap into the Atlanta metro emotional-everyday moment (home, commute, family lifestyle), Mark’s show offers a platform that is both trusted and relatable.
