David is the president and founder of Nicholas Wealth Management, an investment and financial planning firm in Atlanta, Georgia. David has been serving clients as a Financial Advisor for over 15 years.
A graduate of Kennesaw State University, David holds a business administration degree in finance with a concentration in economics. He earned a master’s degree in financial planning from the University of Georgia and a certificate in adaptive leadership from Georgia State University. He passed the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 exams and holds Georgia, Alabama and Texas life insurance and Georgia Health insurance licenses.
David was selected as one of 25 individuals in the Atlanta area to be a member of the Buckhead Coalition’s Diplomatic Leadership Corps, a one-time honor given in recognition of the coalition’s 25th anniversary. Atlanta magazine named David Nicholas, one of Atlanta's 500 most powerful leaders in 2020 and 2021. Kiplinger published one of David’s most popular articles, “Don’t let bad timing be your biggest retirement mistake.” David’s opinions and commentaries have been featured frequently on Fox Business, CNBC, CNN and Fox News' Fox and Friends.
David lives in Atlanta with his wife, Kristin, and their children Isabella, Sophia, and Luke. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and reading. David attends Church of the Apostles in Atlanta. David is honored to serve as a board member of Life Resources of Georgia where they aim to engage, equip and encourage to see life-affirming organizations support Georgia families. He also loves giving back to the local community by speaking on leadership, government, and public policy at schools in the Atlanta area.
